It was 74 degrees yesterday in SanDiego. We were on the beach. We flew into Salt Lake this morning to below 30 degrees and snow storm. That was not a warm welcome! We had a super great time. We went with my sister and family.
We left Wednesday morning and went to the San Diego Zoo. Not my favorite part of the trip, but a super nice zoo.
Thursday we went to LegoLand. My mom made all the kid's shirts. We got lots of people asking where they could buy one. This was heaven for Cole. Definitely the perfect age to go there. Lots of rides for Cole and Molly. Marshall was a little bored, but had plenty to do - his favortite was this robotic arm ride that flips you all over. It was like a Bionical arm. Good thing Dana can do that kind of ride. I videoed the ride - it is posted below. Also a favorite was to drive a mini car - all by yourself. It wasn't on a track. You had to stay in your lane and stop at stoplights, etc.

Friday we went to the San Diego Temple EARLY!! The Jorgensens were just getting home from their cruise, so we went to the temple together. It is now my favorite temple - so beautiful inside and out.
After the temple, we went to Sea World. This was amazing. Amazing what they can train the animals to do! My favorite part was the shows at Sea World. The kids liked the Journey to Atlantis ride because they got soaked!
Saturday we spent the day at the beach. Beautiful weather! Freezing ocean! Lots of college kids on spring break! Got a little sunburn!
Now - back to reality. Stuff is unloaded, Cole is putting together his lego set he bought. Marshall is napping. Molly is playing with her dolls that she left home. Frazier is happy we are home and Dana went to pick up Mazie from Cary and Zach's house. Now it is time for a little nap since I had to get up at 3:15 a.m.
That looks so great! I'm jealous. Glad you guys had fun. We keep thinking we need to try out lego land. I love the picture of the kids on the beach. So cute... and WARM!!!
