
Boot Camp #7 in the history books. This time my focus was to decrease my body fat percentage. I was getting to the point that my body couldn't lose anymore inches with what I was doing. I lost 6 inches, 1 pound and 3% body fat. I asked on day #1 what a good number of percentage loss would be and I was told 1-2%. So there you go! Yeah! It wasn't fun though - I had only 17 g of carbs from the bread group! The rest of my carbs came from fruits and vegies. I was eating tons of protein. I was not allowed to go to spinning. My off boot camp day workouts needed to be weight lifting. I get a big high when I see calories burned on my heart rate monitor. Not many calories are burned when you weight lift. I know I know - you are developing more muscle that in turn burns more calories, but I want to see the number on my watch! I was faithful to my menu plan and the results paid off. Now I just have to keep it up, but first I am having some bread, nachos and Cafe Rio!
